Lithium storage properties of Sn/C composite anode materials

Abstract In this paper, tin-carbon composites were prepared by the hot carbon reduction method and used as anode materials for lithium-ion batteries. The results show that can effectively reduce SnO2 to spherical metallic tin, excess of affects size shape tin particles. higher content is, lithium intercalation potential material is. improvement cyclic stability is at expense reversible capacity. core-shell structure pitch pyrolysis inhibit capacity decay caused volume expansion.
